The Problem
Kangaroo's Korner was previously operating on a generic Wix template, which created significant limitations in performance, SEO visibility, and design flexibility. The client needed a platform that could scale with their growing business and provide a professional, trustworthy user experience for parents, all without the slow load times of a heavy site builder.
The Result
The project is currently in the final development phase. The new architecture is already showing significantly faster load times and improved accessibility. Once launched, it will provide parents with a seamless, trustworthy digital experience.
The Process
I decided to completely re-platform the website from Wix to a custom-coded environment using Astro. My primary goal was to achieve 100/100 performance scores and near-instant page loads to improve the site's SEO ranking.
From a design perspective, I completely overhauled the UI/UX to ensure critical information (like enrollment details and contact forms) was immediately accessible. I focused on clean typography, intuitive navigation, and responsive design to ensure the site looks and functions flawlessly on mobile devices.
